Template:UnitInfoBoxPikemen are basic melee soldiers, unlocked from the Level 1 Barracks. Like all Barracks units they take up 1 army camp space. The preferred target of Pikeman is cavalry and they get bonus damage against cavalry or other mounted units.
Pikemen are also known as Spearmen or Halberdiers depending on the upgrade level.

- Drop them in a corner to draw out cavalry, while Belisarius tunnels under a wall (works with other troops)
