I just broke lvl6, and now it seems that everyone I come up against has the dreaded flame tower. How to defeat it without trebs would be a great answer to this post.

Using Charles Martel's ''Taunt'' works well to close in with trebs or longbowmen.

Henry can disable it. Edward and dismantle it. Rurik can strike it. Martel eats the fire.....and well Saladin can hit from 6.5 tiles away. Just a few ways to counter them. Also Hermann gives defense to all surrounding troops.I either get them out of the way first or last if behind my attack point.
